Anatomy of an outfit: Make up

Hey guys,

I'm going to try and make some fashion and make up related posts, because I love both subjects. I don't qualify myself as a make up guru or something (I'm not Michelle Phan!) but I'd like to share some 'looks' (they're quite simple really ^^) with all of you. :3 I'm a little nervous about this as you might notice~

Here goes!

It's a pretty simple look, but I don't wear this every day. Because of my choice of clothes I like to use a little more black.

First of all I started off clean; wash your fash (with facewash or whatever is good for your skin) and then apply some facial cream. Make sure you have one that's good for your skin type! Some facial creams can only make your skin too greasy and some even burn! But with the right one you can make your skin feel like a little baby :) If you have one with SPF it will also protect your skin against the sun (and for those who want to stay white, it will also slow down the tanning process ;p. I don't need that because I'm as white as a ghost, but when it's summer I always use my SPF 20 skin cream! This way I don't need to use other sunblock that's used for my body. BTW, I always use SPF 20, what do you guys use?)

please don't mind my face, when I wear my hair back my face turns into this round object... I call myself a bapao when that happens. I just came out of the shower so my hair is still wet.

For this look I start with eyeliner. Most people finish with eyeliner because you can manage the amount of black afterwards. I'm just really messy when it comes to lining my tightline. (The -inside- upperline of your eyes. Google it if needed!)

So line your tightline, but don't line your waterline! It will close up your eyes making them too dark. (Unless this is what you're going for.) 

I also lined the outer half of my lower lashline. Make sure it's a thin line as close to your eye as possible. Then use a cotton bud or a brush (one like on my picture) to smudge the line, as if it's fading.

I used a small pencil in stead of the usual thicker ones. You can use whichever you want, but like I said, I'm clumsy... So I don't take any risks. XD

I then use my new eyeshadow from Indonesia~ which is a simple brown color and  color my eyelids. I also used a little black eyeshadow on the outer sides of my eyelids. Sorta blending it with my already lined lines.

I like to use a brush to apply my eyeshadow, but if you have clean fingers (so you won't smudge or make your eyes greasy) you can also just apply it with your fingers.

Curl your lashes and use mascara! Evenly apply and don't forget your lower lashes. It's not a must, do as you prefer! (Bourjois Paris Clubbing Mascara)

Finish off with lipstick + gloss and voila! Everyone I know here in Holland hates lipstick, but I adore it! *O* I don't always use gloss because it's too sticky for me. (Maybelline lipstick and fruity gloss)

Well that was that. :3 I then finally did my hair, and I look a lot better XD.

Aduh! Indonesia!

Hello everyone!

It's been TOO LONG! I've been to Indonesia and back and honestly, I've tried to write SO MANY TIMES but there just wasn't any time... :( I did keep my facebook status updated and also tried to keep my twitter friends posted, but writing an actual blog post with pictures and all the fancy stuff.. Nope. Gomen!!

So here it is, my first post in like a month.. yet another "This is what I'm going to do" post :(

I've been back in over a week now and I haven't been able to post anything yet because I've had 'other priorities'. I have to study for this very important resit in a couple of weeks and I'm busy (slowly but gradually) cleaning and reorganizing my tiny room with loads of stuff. A few days ago I managed to sort my closet and throw a lot of junk away; old make up, hair stuff, skin products and .. dun dun dunnn clothes!

It seems that I'm a semi-horder. It's hard for me to throw stuff away. o_o" (This scares me.)

Anywho! As I said I've been to Indonesia and I will post a lot of marvelous pictures when I sorted them all out (because there are SO MANY....)

I will also show you what I bought :3 (Since Indonesia is way cheaper than the Netherlands. -not to mention better for my skin/hair/mood & cuter-)

 Pink clutch, batik (pink) clutch, brown wallet thingy (I got that one for free), piggie card holder, I am your best friendS (Gotta love the engrish) card holder, a little card holder for my publictransportchipcard XD and a little box for my meds~

 A nice hat for at the beach, skinny belt, wooden bracelet (Balinese art on it), a (big) ring, a hair pin, a cross necklace <3, another random necklace I got for free, a beautiful crystal (glass) necklace (I also got that one for free), a watch, an angel love (boy) necklace, wing earrings and a silver wing ring <3

 Skin products! Most of them are meant to make you whiter (not that I need that), but they're really good for my skin type. No idea what my skin type is, all I know is that those things work way better than the (EXPENSIVE) things I buy back home!!

There's also my trademark pucelle collogne. I always have one bottle with, and mostly wear it all the time. <3 LOVE.

Other random stuff LOL! There's this one thing that will give me double eyelids, since I'm really curious if that works and what it will look like I just bought it. Will blog about my experience with it! ^_^ The blue bunny is a USB thing.. XD SO CUTE.

FREEDOM!

AT LAST!!!

Or not...... DAMN I'm still not done yet!! I had my exam today and it went really really BAD, but I can still do a resit in august (yay). That was my greatest concern though.. studying for that damn exam.

I did finish the magazine I had to make for my internship and I am quite content with it... :D I still have to get feedback from my boss and other people so I can make some adjustments, but hey, 90% of it is DONE. <3

I also wrote one report (which backs the magazine up) and that one's as good as finished too. I'm on a ROLL.

I still have to write two shorter reports, aren't that bad I guess. :) Did a lot of research on it already, so that's a relief. I'm going to write those when I finish writing this post. :) I'm in the train right now and this train has free internet access. I still feel like I have to pay this large fee when I get out of the train, but I don't know how they will charge me for it if that's the case LOL.

I'm on my way to Amsterdam right now, one of my best friends' birthday is sunday and I'll be spending the night with one of my other best friends, because I live kinda far away from them. :( (It's around 3,5 hrs or so to my friends' birthday by train. If I could drive by car it'd be around 2 hrs. SHEEH damn train is taking this long route xD)

Anyway! Tomorrow I'll be having a lot of fun YET AGAIN, since I celebrated another friend's birthday last weekend. She's also going abroad for a YEAR T^T, I promised not to cry and I didn't (yet :p). I'm planning on visiting her soon though ^_^ finally going to London/Barcelona~ WHOO! I've never been there before o_o I have been to Mallorca though... :)

I met a lot of cool people during that birthday and I had so much fun... really something I needed!

I also had my nails done that day, lol. Never had acrylic nails before, but I will write another post about that seperately.

I also made a 'birthday magazine' for my friend, I don't know if I can upload it so you guys can see it, but I will ask her if she minds. :)

Well I guess that's all I have to say for now, which is already a lot XD .. I missed writing here... :)

Ugh, I've got a rough week up ahead... Lol. When that's over I can finally breathe again!!

I've been wanting to post some stuff here, lots to talk about! I've been thinking of a  lot of subjects I wanted to discuss, but never had the time. So this post is to let you know that I am still alive xD and that I am planning on writing A LOT after all of my deadlines.

I've been very inspired by Michelle Phan and her friends, so I might start posting make up, fashion and hair related posts too, if I feel like sharing it. I'm really insecure about stuff like that, but hey I'll try.

I'm also going to Indonesia for about 3,5 weeks, so I'll talk about that too. ;)
